Each and every parent knows that feeding a kid is not less than a war. One day they like something, other day they like something else. In such fussiness, serving Nutrition on daily basis becomes tough for us. Here, we collected few terrific ideas to give fruits and vegetables to the little ones in a style. They have worked for many parents like me. Hope it will work for you too.
1. Fruity Franky
Giving a little twist to Franky, just grab the favourite fruits of your kid or any combination which goes well. Spread condensed milk and chocolate pieces or any fruit jam. That’s it!! Yummy Fruity Franky is good to go.
2. Candy Crush Dessert.
Take fruit jelly of different colors. Cut fruits in small pieces. Slightly heat the jelly and mix the fruit pieces in it. Freeze the mixture for 2 hours. Now take it out of the freezer and cut down small shapes out of the the settled jelly mixture. Here you see the beautiful colorful pieces to add into your custard batter. Your kid will definitely like this cool and colorful sweet dish.
3. Baked Green Apple
Take 1 bowlful of Oats, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, Add 1/3 bowl of wheat flour, 2 pinch of baking powder and 1/2 spoon vanilla essence. Mix them all together. Add 1 bowl condensed milk and stir the batter for 10 mins.
Now, take green Apples, cut them and hollow as shown in pic. Take pie bases and cut the strips out of them. Fill the batter in hollow green apples leaving half of the space. Cover the apples with pie Base strips. Bake the apple at 180° for upto 10 minutes. Delicious baked green Apple are ready. Let them cool and then, refrigerate for few hours. Serve them cool.
4. Cheesy baked potato or Sweet potatoes
Here, you can opt for potatoes or sweet potatoes whatever you like. Make them hollow, add parmesian or mozzarella cheese, add chilli flakes, black pepper, salt and chopped onion, tomatoes and other veggies. You can also add egg if you like. Bake at 200° for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!!
5. Peekaboo Icecreams ￼
It’s the simplest way you know. Cut Banana in half and insert icecream stick. Now, freeze it for 2-3 hours. Melt some white chocolate or milk chocolates. Dip the frozen banana in melted chocolate. Sprinkle few nuts and cherries. And freeze for another 2 hours. Here comes chocolate Banana Icecream for your little one.
Similarly, you can make Kiwi icecream too. It’s a icecream with a peeking fruit inside. So, we called it peekaboo icecream.
6. Apple Toppings
Pluck the seeds out of apple and Slice it. Spread peanut butter or Nutella. Sprinkle the favourite fruit pieces, nuts, chocolate pieces. The tasty topping is ready to serve.
7. Caramelised Apple
Woww!! This is as simple as you see in the image. Hollow half green Apple filled with caramel. Refrigerate it and cut it in pieces. That’s it.!!!
8. Banana Rolls
Take a Base for roll. It can be chappati too. Spread melted chocolate or Nutella put a peeled banana in the center and roll over. Cut the roll into smaller halves and serve.
9. Creamy Strawberry
Take the pitted strawberries. Cut them in halves and take the pulp out. Take fresh whipped cream and add powdered sugar. Mix it well. Fill this cream in strawberries. Yummy creamy strawberries for your hungry bunny is good to go.!!
10. Floral Omelette
